  “a circuit overseer started out by saying that on this last round of the circuit, the one thing he noticed the most...is that everyone is physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually drained...and that cuts across all barriers and demographics within the truth.

  he then said that the one common thread that ran among nearly everyone was this: we feel guilty for feeling bad.

  he said because we are told to endure with joy, our minds can cause us to feel enormous guilt over feeling this way...and then, my dear brothers and sisters...he proceeded to blow our collective minds.. he asked us to turn to daniel 8:27….

  Ive heard a circus overseer tell me recently that he who needs to work on meeting nights or field serv-us time,,like on Saturdays,,is ""spiritually immature"".

  Now ignorant is that???

  When you consider all the people who work 2nd shift,,like the 3 to 11pm shift or nightshifts these days.

  But when you hear some ignoramus who is soooo completely out of touch with reality.

  I guy who has probably never worked a full day in his life,,,changed a tire on a car,, or applied for a job.

  That comment from a circus overseer struck a nerve like I nobody ever could

  My goodness! Fourteen years since I began posting here...

  i'm not sure if anyone remembers me since i do not post here much anymore.

  i sometimes pop in around christmas time to see if anyone is interested in exchanging christmas cards like we used to back when i first posted on this site.

  speaking of which, the holiday season will soon be upon us.. if you recall, i was married to a jehovah's witness and i had a daughter i spoke of a lot.

  Maybe to resurrect this thread a bit is coming to realize the best way to not be "drained or tired"" is perhaps by not being there (at the KH).

  I know sunk cost fallacy.

  One of the worst feelings is realizing you've been duped,suckered,,,hoodwinked or whatever.

  Numerous reasons why the $heeple look drained,, tired or whatever.

  i have been a baptized witness for the last 30+ years, but have not attended meetings in the last 15 years.

  what examples can you think of from over the years?

  There comes a time when we have to "put to bed'" WT stuff

  That including youtube videos those kind of things.

  Perhaps thats why some people quit doing videos because,,they just move on.

  LoL...

  My 1st ever exJW video I ever saw was back in Oct 2007.

  I never even heard of "Beth Sarim""

  And I saw some video in Oct 2007 talking about Judge Rutherford his 12 cylinder vehicles and "Beth Sarim""

  And,,,

  Heard a reference to the Proclaimers book 1993,,,I went and took the book out and confirmed it AND,,,

  Voila,,,that month in 2007 I became PIMO,, and somehow stumbled across this site 2 years later in 2009,,,and here I am.
